The duality of life. We all have two sides to us. Constant ups and downs can shift the balance towards one side or the other. Best is to stick to the middle, I say.
Thank You!
“He is a combination of extremes.”
Maybe he is a monster,
scared,
running from his shadow on the wall.
Maybe he is a preacher,
elated,
giving a sermon to his crowd.
He is a combination of extremes,
dawn and dusk,
like a cup of steaming bitter coffee,
divided with a drop of gentle milk.
This man is a magnet for the earthly pleasures,
and a window for the soul that’s precious.
A reflection in the mirror,
good and bad,
one righteous brat,
searching for the place,
on the welcome mat.
Golden middle line.
